I exist, therefore I appreciate. Connection through emotion, ideals, and actions are of utmost importance, and I'll remain relevant for as long as you choose. Won't judge you nor question validity, unless of course to help or gain a better understanding.
I have a passion for word smithing, as evident by the few decades of collected material. Sometimes I'll make slightly tolerable noise on FL Studio, other times not so much. Once in a blue moon I may even doodle a little something, but I never truly thought any good has come from it. I hoard interests and distractions across vast amounts of medium, never being a fan of reality. Nature is beautiful, and the only reason to go outside. I fight depression, I over think, and I cherish honesty above all else. If your going to take part in my life, be active in it... Don't be afraid, I may surprise you. I'll continue living until I can't. Love.
I came across a pet project recently of someone [taiko554.deviantart.com/] letting people vote to make a custom Super Sentai, and this got me to thinking about what kind of team I would make. Well... this is what I came up with: Obake Sentai Kaijuger (basically translating to Changing Squadron Monster-ger).
Based off of the Universal Studios earlier monster films, I have the theme split into two sets of three. The main team consists of Frankenstein's Monster, The Mummy, and the Invisible Man. The Monster is the leader, his color is black (tired of red always being the leader). He has the power of electricity, wields a large hammer, and has Frankenstein's Castle as his mecha. The Mummy is colored yellow, she wields a whip, can fire orbs of curses to cause damage, and has a pyramid mecha. Lastly on team A is the Invisible (Wo)Man, colored white, she wields a gun, can obviously go invisible, and has a mansion mecha. The three weapons can combine to make a cannon with the hammer being the main body, the hilt of the whip looking like a sight, and the gun being the trigger. The mecha have humanoid forms resembling their pilots, the same weapons and powers as them, and the three individual mecha combine to make a larger mecha (the castle forming the legs and torso, the pyramid forming the chest and head, and the mansion forming the arms and hands). The combined mecha can still use all the powers, the combined weapons cannon, and has a special sword it uses for a finishing move). Team B consists of Dracula, the Wolfman, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Dracula is the leader, his color is violet, he wields two daggers, can cause illusions, fly, and has a bat mecha. The Wolfman is red, he wields two claw weapons, is super fast, and has a wolf mecha. Lastly the Creature is green, she has a trident that makes a waterspout (water tornado), can stay underwater indefinitely, and has a fish mecha with four short legs. Their weapons do not combine. The mecha all have humanoid forms as well, also taking after the appearance of the pilots, share the same powers as them (though not weapons), and combine to make a larger mecha (the wolf making the left leg and half of the torso, the land fish making the right leg and the other half of the torso, and the bat making the chest, arms, and head, while providing its wings). Instead of weapons this combined mecha casts illusions, flies, runs quickly, swims, calls a waterspout, and mixes some of those into a finishing move: The waterspout traps the enemy, the mecha makes illusory copies (multiplying the attack power) of its self circling the enemy, and runs in full speed - charging straight through - causing massive damage. The two combined mecha would later combine further with one another, collecting all 6 at last (the castle legs and torso would turn around, the gates opening inward to allow the wolf and land fish to fit within while keeping them exposed in the front, their left and right torso portions making the front of the feet, the head of the pyramid then comes off, the bat connects to the back putting the arms of the previous combined form over the shoulders hanging forward like two barrels, the wings stay spread to also providing flight in this form, the bat head then comes down and connects to the pyramid, the previous head flips and combines with the bat head to form a new helmet).
If it were the mostly average 50 episode count, team A would be alone in their fight until possibly around episode 10. The team would be well and solid by then, and starting to be under powered. Introduce the Wolfman, he'd be the second male character of the show and he'd shake up the team A dynamic. His mecha by itself would be a boost to the arsenal, fighting as beast and man with blinding dashes. In about three episodes the Wolfman would lead them all to the second of his group: The Creature. She would prove her usefulness in battles only she could fight, and reveal the whereabouts of the final character in roughly another three episodes. Dracula fills two roles: He's the leader of team B and is the token sixth member. This means that not only will he and Frankenstein's Monster be the strongest, but that they'll have a semi-friendly rivalry. After a few fights showing off the newest mecha, they finally get their second combined mecha of the series (which takes about another three episodes). The next 10 episodes they grow as a full team and enjoy easy victories, the 10 after that they start to get under powered again and start combining all 6 mecha. The 11 after that everything gets incredibly rough, and they almost lose for the last time. Somehow on the second half of a two part finale they pull an ultimate victory, and toy sales go through the roof.
That's it, hope one of you nerds out there like this, it was a fun diversion from my writing for a while... now... wonder if I should dream up some opposition? Maybe.
